Hammer Blows
Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, six months removed from his resignation involving corruption charges in the Abramoff scandal, is back…as a blogger! DeLay’s new website, tomdelay.com, is both conservative blog and political fundraiser.
His blog has a link to the Grassroots Action and Information Network, the Hammer’s political organization. It would seem to be some kind of anti-liberal, anti-media, pro-religious ultra-right wing group of nutballs, but with DeLay behind it, they must be taken seriously.
For a $52 annual fee, members are promised inside information. All references are checked before membership is granted to avoid infiltration by the liberals. Did I mention paranoia?
