Earthquake Hits Central Italy
Earthquake with a magnitude 6.3 hit central Italy, leaving at least 92 dead, more than 1500 injured, and thousands homeless.
Most were sleeping when the first jolt hit. Buildings dating back to the 13th century fell in the streets.
Rescuers are forced to dig through rubble with their bare hands to find survivors.
Tens of thousands of people have been put out of their homes due to collapse or structural damage.
Three after shocks have been reported ranging from magnitude 4.3 to 4.8. Many are still without electricity and authorities are searching for gas leaks.
