Citizens Gas Hikes On Citizens
An increase of approximately $3.40 per month can be expected on the average CG residential bill, beginning as early as October.
The rate hike was approved by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, and will increase Citizens Gas revenues by $14.7 million.
Without a doubt this is due to the national trend showing a drop in natural gas prices, and the fear of CG investors that they might not get their accustomed dividends this winter. So the customer must make up the shortfall. Life can be hard when one’s portfolio doesn’t pan out as expected.
It is obvious that the State has made yet another decision that will support big business and those who back it, while giving up its real obligations to the citizens of Indiana–again.
