Chinese Checkmate

An individual that I occasionally correspond with on another forum recently remarked to me that President Bush’s attitude toward China is “good business,” and understanding the direction of the world economy. He went on to say that if I couldn’t understand that, then I should STFU.

China is rumored to be selling missiles and other weapons to Iran, America’s enemy of the moment. Yet our president goes out of his way to ignore the situation. Presumably, a protest would interfere with a “good business” situation.

Furthermore, China owns us, financially. We are so far indebted to them that if they called in the chips, the U.S. economy would collapse. If this is the direction that the world economy is going, we are in deep trouble, and our President, along with his unscrupulous administration, has sold America to international interests.
