14 Polo Horses Die Mysteriously In Florida
On preparing to compete with Lechuza Caracas in the U.S. open match in West Palm Beach Florida, thoroughbred horses began dropping like flies!
Necropsies and blood tests were being done Sunday, April 19, 2009 to find the answer to why fourteen seemingly healthy polo horses died at the international polo club.
First two collapsed and vets ran to survive them when five others became dizzy. A total of seven horses actually died on the Florida property.
Vets at the resort tried intravenous cleansing to the horses struggling to breath, but some died immediately and some lasted less than an hour.
Its still unclear until bloodwork and necropsie reports return what happended to these horses and will remain for now just a mystery.
